Polynucleotides

Polynucleotides are the latest revolutionary product in regenerative medicine that work on a cellular level to repair tissue and boost skin quality. Polynucleotides are natural, highly-purified DNA molecules extracted from salmon to bio-stimulate positive changes in the skin.

In the form of polymerised polynucleotide-based injectable gels, polynucleotides work by stimulating fibroblasts. When fibroblasts are stimulated this encourages cell turnover, improves elasticity, boosts collagen production and hydrates skin to create an even and refreshed skin tone.

Polynucleotides can be used to improve;

  • Fine lines and Wrinkles

  • Acne scarring and scarring

  • Dark under-eye circles

  • Skin laxity

  • uneven skin tone and texture

  • Inflammation

  • Pigmentation

  • Improves micro-circulation to improve brightness
  • Keeps skin hydrated

Polynucleotides are commonly used to treat the lower face, under eyes and Neck. Although we often treat other areas with skin laxity such as the abdomen, hands and decollete.

We can also use Polynucleotides for Hair Restoration, the number of treatments is unique to the individual and requires an advised treatment plan. They are also thought to have anti-inflammatory and wound healing properties, which can help to reduce redness, swelling and other signs of skin damage.

Treatment Overview

Polynucleotides also called PN or PDRN are an injectable skin boosting regenerative treatment that has gained huge popularity in recent years, although polynucleotides have been used in medicine since the 1980s. Polynucleotides create dewy looking skin, adding a soft volume and hydration effect. In addition polynucleotides work to boost fibroblast production, inducing tissue repair processes, reducing inflammatory processes, regulating melanogenesis and promoting hydration in the skin. Polynucleotides stimulate regeneration of the skin at a cellular level so it takes time to be seen visually in terms of improved texture, minimised pores, brightness and pigmentation. Results will improve gradually as the tissues regenerate following treatment. Most patients start to notice an improvement after 4 weeks however results will continue to improve with optimum results expected around 3 months after the course of treatment has been completed. A course of 3-4 sessions spaced between 2-4 weeks apart are recommended depending on treatment concern and 6 monthly maintenance treatments are recommended following your initial treatment course for ongoing results.

Benefits

Polynucleotides are exceptionally versatile. They can be used to treat both body and face. including necks, decolletage, eye area, hands, abdomen, thighs, knees, arms, stretch marks, scars and surgical scars, hair restoration, melasma, rosacea and general signs of facial ageing. polynucleotides have moisturising and antioxidant properties which create an optimal environment within your skin to promote the natural growth of fibroblasts, which produce collagen and elastin. They can enhance hydration, tissue elasticity and tightens and help rejuvenate the skin.

Who For ?
