Comprised of hyaluronic acid, a natural substance within our skin, dermal fillers are used to restore lost volume, create facial contour/definition and slow down the ageing process. As hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance within the body this makes adverse reactions to it unlikely.

Premium CE approved dermal fillers are used in our clinic for maximum results and your safety. If your concerns include thinning lips, sagging lower face, or a weak chin then dermal fillers could be your answer. A less is more approach is used when injecting fillers to ensure a natural result.

Depending on product choice and area of concern results can last between 6-18months. However, aftercare and lifestyle choices are important with regards to the longevity of your filler, this will be discussed at your appointment.

Lip volume is best built up in stages, so it may be that you have smaller volumes of dermal filler added over a period of months to achieve the desired outcome. Dermal fillers in the lips can also help to restore lost volume. in the correct, highly-skilled, highly-qualified hands, lips can be enhanced and rejuvenated beautifully and subtly, balancing and harmonising the lips with the face and ensuring a great look from all angles. Cheek and chin enhancements are recommended to balance profiles or enhance the contours of cheekbones or chin. The correct dermal filler will be chosen to achieve your desired outcome in the correct area. It is important to know the same dermal filler used for the cheek bones or chin is not suitable to be injected into the lips - therefore contour packages can not be preformed or combined. In some cases we can combine cheek and chin dermal filler although this will be discussed in your consultation. We want you to feel as comfortable as possible during your treatment so where desired we offer a topical numbing cream depending on the treatment for comfort. our dermal fillers products also contain 0.3% lidocaine combined with hyaluronic acid gel within the syringe. This provides instant and additional relief from pain upon injection.

Preparation Required

In the week before the treatment, avoid taking aspirin (unless prescribed by your doctor). ibuprofen, vitamin E and fish oil supplements. These may increase bleeding and bruising. Paracetamol is fine to take prior to treatment. You must inform your Nurse of any prescription medication you are taking and avoid strenuous exercise and alcohol prior to treatment. If you feeling under the weather on the day of your treatment please also inform your Nurse.

Antiwrinkle treatments typically last between 3 and 6 months, but this really comes down to how quickly your body metabolises the toxin, which, as you can imagine, varies from person to person.

Recovery time for anti-wrinkle treatments usually takes around 1 hour.

No. Anti-wrinkle injections are prescription only and we always do a consultation on your first appointment.  If deemed suitable for treatment an appointment will be made for you to return for treatment.

Side effects are very rare but we will go through this with you at your consultation.
